Emily A. MacDonald

Emily practices in the areas of labour and employment law, human rights and administrative law. She represents clients in wrongful dismissal claims, drafts employment contracts and provides advice on day-to-day workplace issues including privacy and legislation and regulation compliance. Emily also conducts workplace investigations related to harassment and discrimination.

Emily was called to the bar in Prince Edward Island in 2014. Emily is a Vice Chair of the Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal. She is also active in the Canadian Bar Association where she is the Chair of the Women Lawyers Forum for PEI. Before attending law school at the University of New Brunswick, Emily worked in the provincial government in Newfoundland and Labrador and in the Senate of Canada.
